Metropolitan Laboratories and Divisions, New Jersey Micro Electronic Testing (NJMET), California Micro Electronic Testing (CMET), Europe Micro Electronic Testing (EMET), and AMET Testing LLC are worldwide AS9100: 2001 / ISO9001: 2000 / DSCC-VQC (Defense Supply Center Columbus) Lab Suitability Certified laboratories, accommodating a variety of specifications tailored to our clientele in a wide array of industries.

In 2006, NJMET introduced its Mission: Imposter Counterfeit Component Product Inspection Program.

Our trained engineers use a state of the art, multi-step inspection detection process to identify counterfeit and cloned products. The process begins with analyzing the shipping and packaging.  It continues with the parts undergoing several levels of inspection including: marking and dimension checks, internal visual analysis, material analysis and electrical testing to insure the safety of your distribution transaction.

Our state of the art electronic testing capabilities have accommodated the prime contractors of the United States Department of Defense, NASA, the FAA, the FCC, the European Community Council and the Israeli Aerospace and Defense Industries.

Moreover, Metropolitan Labs provides quality testing, re-certification and manufacturing of electronic component products (custom/obsolete) including component solutions for discontinued devices.

Over the years, our diversity of screening and qualification programs, listed on our menu, continue to accommodate the Space Shuttle project, the Army Tactical Missiles Program, the Multiple Launch Rocket System, the Patriot Missile, the Stealth Bomber, the B-52 and the Communications Satellites Program.  Moreover, our component testing capabilities also address the current demands of the cellular and medical instrumentation industries.

In 1994, New Jersey Micro Electronic Testing was selected as the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Region II Subcontractor of the Year. Citations of outstanding performance were presented by former President Bill Clinton, former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman as well as the Senate and General Assembly of New Jersey.

Our primary goal is to insure product quality in performance by identifying and solving problems, developing new ideas through technical consulting and providing the testing excellence needed to certify and improve the performance of your product.
